How do emotions and social interactions, and even personality change in middle age
How do emotions and social interactions, and even personality change in middle age? We now know more about the cognitive aspects of the middle-age brain than ever before. However, it is also true that much of middle age is coming to terms with significant declines in health. Having the ability to seek and find affordable treatments to both correct and manage these health challenges is of great importance to the middle-ager. What is your view of the current health care crisis and subsequent discussions underway around the country? Do you agree with a government option? Should we give discounted health care benefits to those who take care of their health? (ie. regularly workout, yearly well-visits, keep cholesterol, blood-sugar, and weight at healthy levels). Explain. What do you recommend as a solution to the healthcare challenge? Since many receive health-care benefits through their work place, do you believe fear of losing these benefits will deter aging Americans from retirement? What effect might delayed retirement have on the economy?
