What are the basic differences between a domestic strategy and an international strategy?. For this assignment, you will be creating a slide presentation of 18 slides (not including the cover page and reference page). Below is a recommended outline.
Instructions: Select any one of the international businesses listed within the text’s Company Index beginning on Page 585. Use information from the chapter content and from your selected company’s website to reference to answer questions found below. You will also need to do some research on the company’s financials and news articles on the company.
Submit your project as a PowerPoint presentation and follow the guidelines below:
Presentation should be no more than 20 slides (excluding title and reference page)
1. Each slide should include an oral presentation. Each slide needs to be narrated meaning that the total presentation needs an audio component, with each slide addressed.
a. For the cover page slide, introduce yourself and on the references slide, thank the audience.
b. a. What are the basic differences between a domestic strategy and an international strategy? Compare and contrast the domestic versus the international strategy of your selected company.
b. How difficult or easy do you think it is for managers to gauge the costs, benefits, and risks of a particular foreign market? What is an example of a time when managers at your selected company gauged these areas effectively?
c. What are the relative advantages and disadvantages of joint ventures compared to other types of strategic alliances? Does your selected company uses joint ventures as an international strategy? Why or Why Not?
d. Argue for or against a business decision, organizational plan, business philosophy, policy decision, or concept related to the class that can pertain to your chosen organization.
