My focus was on a male patient 66 years old, who came in because of fall when getting out of bed . They suspected a stroke, so he was NPO for the first 24hrs. Patients reports feeling week in lower extremity. history of diabetes, HTN, PVD sp bilateral toe amputation, Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infection, left fifth toe discoloration/wound gangrene. alert and oriented, I was able to assist with ADLS, spoke together for some time, administer medication .
