This law is also called: Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economy Security Act The bill was sponsored by the Representative Joe Courtney. This bill became Public law in O3/27/2020. The divisions of the bill are the following: workers paid and employed, enhanced the healthcare and improve the economic stability (Congress, 2019).

This division establishes the Paycheck Protection Program to provide eight weeks of cash flow assistance to small businesses through federally guaranteed loans to employers who maintain their payroll. Such assistance shall be to cover costs such as payroll, paid sick leave, supply chain disruptions, and employee salaries. The division further provides that certain amounts owed on such loans are eligible to be forgiven. (Congress, 2019)
In the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, quarantine was the measurement taken by many countries to decrease the transmission of the virus. To do so, many companies which were not deemed essential were requested to close. Many employees were put in furlough status without pay.

It was found that same companies voluntary close their doors to protect their employees.
Many other businesses have voluntarily closed to protect their employees and the public as a whole. Perhaps the most visible closure has been the nearly universal shutdown of the professional sports industry. Those exposed to the virus are being advised to self-quarantine for at least 14 days presenting financial challenges for workers without paid sick leave. Although that the CARE Act bill is not directs related to a health policy, I believe there is evidence that monetary assistance for unemployment relief can improve a health quality. Healthy People 2020 states: “Adults who are food insecure may be at an increased risk for a variety of negative health outcomes and health disparities”. It also states that: “Food-insecure children may also be at an increased risk for a variety of negative health outcomes, including obesity” (Healthy People 2020, p.7)
