This course will also request your active participation in identifying how the factors of spirituality influence and impact your social work practice. Integral to this course will be considering the development and integration of your personal and professional self as a clinical social worker. Notably, the definition of the factors of spirituality in practice may shift throughout the semester as you learn and experience. This has been described in this transition in three stages:
1. being able and willing to have the conversation
2. identifying self-awareness and evaluating techniques and methods to work with clients by taking my seat
3. understanding and synthesizing your connection by answering the inquiry of ‘what is my calling?’
Allowing for the growth of your self-awareness and interaction with this material toward integrating dimensions of spirituality in direct practice with clients, you will complete this entry.
This assignment will be will be a minimum 2-3 pages each. If direct quotes or other published material is used, provide citation via APA.

1. Interview a person who identifies with the spiritual and faith-based community (e.g. pastor, rabbi, spiritual counselor/healer)

4. Explanation and review of a guided self-care practice
