I’m working on a history discussion question and need guidance to help me study.
Many historians believe that the concept of a “modern” America was born during the roarin’ 1920s. Based on what you have learned so far in this course (especially Chapter 25), do you agree or disagree with this claim? If you agree, what occurred/existed in the 20s that defined the dawn of a modern America? If you disagree, why do you believe it was an earlier/later period and not the 20s? Also, which decade/period should be then credited with the advent of a modern America? Please also answer the following questions (no matter how you answered the question above):
1. What were the good and bad aspects of the transition to a modern America?
2. Did the transition to a modern America benefit or harmed the nation?
Please be specific with your answers. Original post (100 words)
