Develop a health promotion plan by completing the following steps:
Select and read two (2) articles that relate to population health, health promotion programs, or health institutions focused on implementing health promoting changes or improvement. As you envision your future integrated care APRN role, identify one (1) mental health promotion topic you might be interested in addressing.
For this assignment you are to develop your own health promotion program or think about new ways to approach existing programs. Be creative! Discuss your health promotion program using the PDSA MODEL steps for change. Include in your discussion how you would integrate evidence-based strategies in achieving your health promotion objectives using AHRQ, QI, or IHI indicators. Be sure to use and cite all scholarly references using APA format (including the two articles you read) for credit. Post your plan on the Module 6 blog by creating a new entry.

risk factors/at risk population. talk about impact of abuse on mental health, development of psychiatric disorder such as anxiety, depression, poor social functioning. Then, emphasize that given these adverse effects of child abuse, identification of children at risk or early identification is important to prevent negative impact.

-Find research article on screening tools for child abuse. in primary care or one that can be used in outpatient practice or body of evidence in general about tools for screening. That tool will be used to answer questions each section of the PDSA should be a separate paragraph.
idea- survey or screening for all new patients ages 5 -18 years of age. identify those at risk by reviewing all screening tools, coordinate with social work for home visits or follow evidence based recommendation for addressing this, then provide resources to family or the child.
