Discuss social inequality is unavoidable because race plays a major role in social classes. Please respond to at least two other students’ Responses. Below are two (2) students response.
(1) Social inequality is unavoidable because race plays a major role in social classes. Although we have come far to acknowledge other races and like the acceptance of other races. Some races have many opportunities than other races which gained them a higher social class or they remain in the same class while other race drops in class. It could be anything from financial standards to political parties, education, or even religion. Not to mention those who hold a higher class restrict other classes from rising. unfortunately, removing social inequalities would be very difficult due to strong classifications that have been embedded in society. It could actually cause chaos among the people.
(2) I am definitely happy with the society I currently live in today, I believe It is a good one. Although, there are still certain inequalities people of color still suffer from in todays day in age, it has come so far from where society was ages ago. I don’t know what life would have been like for me than nor do I care to think of such things. I have the opportunity now to make changes for myself and more importantly my kids futures. Society today is more accepting not only for people of color but for women in general. The feeling of significance in todays society is important to me, I feel like I am probably more of value today than back then? maybe just my opinion? However, I feel many would agree on this one. We still have so much to work on which would be a weakness but its not too much of a weakness as we strengthen who are and evolve over the next generations.
