Find an article that relates to the material covered in ??EACH?? of the chapters read this week. ?Go to the Internet? and find an article that discusses? the same? topic??. Then write in an APA Journal Assignment? format a minimum of ?350 ?words? per article?, 1) explaining the article and 2) then give your opinion to the pros or cons of each article.? ?Do not explain the chapters in the book. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: ?CHOOSE ALL FOUR (4) CHAPTERS, THEN GO ON THE INTERNET FIND AN ARTICLE FOR EACH CHAPTER DISCUSSES THE SAME TOPIC. ?350 ?FOR EACH ARTICLE 1) EXPLAINING THE ARTICLE AND 2) GIVE YOUR OPINION TO THE PROS OR CONS OF THE ARTICLE.
Do not explain the chapters?, just read them and choose ALL on them, then go online to find an article for each chapter that discusses the same topic as the chapters. One article for each chapter.
My suggested approach to these assignments is as follows.
1. ?Use a heading for the EACH chapter and mention the Chapter, the topic from the chapter and the article you are using for that chapter in the heading.
eg. CHAPTER 1 – THE ISSUE OF SLAVERY – Article: ” The remnants of Slavery in Today’s Society.”
2. Provide an introductory paragraph – Introduce your reader to the fact you will be talking about slavery and relating it to the article.
3. Topic Paragraph – Summarize the topic of slavery as discussed in the text.
3. Topic Paragraph – Summarize the article
4. Topic Paragraph – Tie the topic to the article
5. Topic Paragraph – Provide your opinions as requested by the assignment.
6. Concluding paragraph. – Wrap up your essay.
VERY IMPORTANT:
THERE SHOULD BE 4 ARTICLES ARTICLES EXPLAINING FOUR (4) CHAPTERS AND DO NOT USE ANY ARTICLES THAT ARE OLDER THAN ??2013?.?? There is much out there about these topics and so I expect recent articles.
Finally, just because you are only using one article to write about, that does not mean you do not need to cite your sources in the body of the essay. Please cite if you quote or paraphrase information.
NOTE: DO NOT simply cut-and-paste from a website. Yes, you should be reviewing websites and other sources to find the information for this project but do not simply cut-and-paste someone else’s words. You will
NOT get credit for doing this. Your paper must be your own words, thoughts, and analysis. Again, choose all ?FOUR (4) chapters, then find an article that discusses the same topic as the article. To receive full credits, there should be ?FOUR (4)?? articles that talk about FOUR (4) of the chapters.
