It was always difficult to reach the target. Secondly, the level of pay was very low. This implied that it could not meet the needs of the employees. Employees were required to spend their money in transport but there were no reimbursements on the same. This left the employees with no money to cater for their needs. The office environment was vey discriminative. The management favored some employees and not the others. This brought division among the employees. This resulted in high level of employee turnover in the organization. It is equally worth noting that sales job involved meeting with people from diverse backgrounds and differing perceptions and emotions. Some of the customers were very rude something that made the job very disinteresting.

Employees need money to cater for their food, clothing and shelter. They also need money to cater for their medical needs. Proper remuneration is a key source of motivation to the employees. While there has been emphasizes on intrinsic sources of motivation in contemporary organizations, extrinsic sources of motivation are key sources of motivation in an organization. Equally, the sales job involves payment through basic pay and bonuses on sales. The manager should increase the level of bonuses that he provides to the employees once they make a sale. This will make the employees feel that they are part and parcel of the organization significantly enhancing their motivation levels
Q3
In order to improve operations in the organization and enhance the level of motivation among the employees, it was important for the manager to adopt objective values at work. Employees are motivated when the organizations operate within the confines of the values that such employees equally hold dear. In this case, the manager field to provide value for the money paid by the customers, something that annoyed the employees who are dedicated to quality service. The manager should thus ensure quality of service to appeal to such employees and enhance their motivation levels. Equally, the manager should ensure inclusivity. Employees are more motivated and productive when they work in an organization that does not discriminate against them. Inclusivity involves treating all people equally irrespective of their social cultural orientations or even gender. This will enhance employee motivation in the consultancy job.
Conclusion
Based on the above presentation, it is evident that working conditions in an organization affects the level of motivation and satisfaction of employees with their job.
