It is critical that the teacher has a strong foundation and understanding of the theorist (Vygotsky’s and Piaget’s) regarding the development of mathematical and scientifically thought in the preschool child development (birth through 3rd grade). Summarize the significance of the theorist viewpoint (historical period) in which they lived) in combination with the manner in with a child (birth through 3rd grade) develops math and science concepts.
