In Week 6, you read the article Angels in the Nursery by Alicia Lieberman et al (2005). This article cites and responds to an influential paper published 30 years earlier, Ghosts in the Nursery, by Fraiberg, Adelson, & Shapiro (1975).  Please read and review both articles. Write a 3-4 paragraph discussion.

1. Discuss at least 1 idea from each article that strikes you (surprises you,  agree or disagree,etc)
2. Reflect on “angels” or benevolent forces early in life in your nursery. Describe one of these early sources of resilience or comfort. How do you think this has influenced you, your sense of self, your relationships and expectations?
3. Describe or imagine how you may be an “angel” or benevolent force in a young person’s life. What would you like to pass along or “pay foward” in a way that is a positive influence?
