organisation producing goods or offering services in Oman. This report should shall assess the
impact of Market structure and competitive factors on the organisation/industry-sector and
evaluate the organisation /industry-sector responses. (In the case of a large organisation or industry-sector it is permissible to confine your report to part of the organisation or industry-
sector.)

Task

Select an organization operating in Oman and provide following discussions regarding the
market conditions :-
(i) A brief profile of the organization with description on the types of products and services
offered by the selected organization, the market structure as well as any two competitors.
(ii) Discuss any three factors affecting both demand and supply of the selected organization.
(iii) Using the example of a monopolistic competition market player , highlight how it competes with other organizations to increase its market share.
