Specific | Provide specific details to describe what you want to accomplish. |
Measurable | How will you know you have achieved your goal? How can your goal be evaluated? (e.g. How much? How often? How many?) |
Action-Oriented | What specific actions or steps will you take to meet your goal? |
Realistic | Is it a goal that you are actually capable of achieving? Can you really complete this goal? (It is important to be honest with yourself here.) |
Timely | Clearly specify a completion date. |
Now that we have looked at goal setting as part of the nursing process, as well as some time management and active learning strategies for you as a nursing student, please answer the following questions. You can consider goals in any of these areas: Academic, Professional/Career, Personal, and Financial.
Question 1- Write a realistic goal that you’d love to achieve. Review the resources in the course to help you formulate your goal, and remember to make is SMART.
