 The papers must be, of course, based upon technology related articles and should be taken from the following broad categories: IT and the strategic advantage, security, knowledge management, intellectual capital, technology development and trends, e-Business, data warehousing, customer relationship management, evaluating technological projects, the role of the CIO, evolution of the Internet (use, technology, implications, legislation), value chain management, supply chain management, virtual corporations and employees, networks, architecture and infrastructure, groupware, B2B, B2C, ethical issues surrounding IT, taxing issues, advantages for the disabled, planning, financial analysis as it relates to IT, resource protection, and future projections in IT. The current event presentations must not be an advertisement for a particular company and / or product. All articles must be taken from authoritative sources and be no older than January 2014. Examples of authoritative sources are per the following, but it is not intended to be an exhaustive list. CIO.com, Fortune, Forbes, Datamation.com, ComputerWorld, and the Wall Street Journal. Remember, you must cite your sources properly to receive credit. The paper is to be submitted as an email attachment in the session in which it is due.
The following questions must be answered by each writer of a current event for credit to be given.
