1. Reflection assignment on a TEDX video. https://www.ted.com/watch/tedx-talks

A. Identify a presentation of your choice online. It must be between 15-25 minutes long.
B. It is recommended that you find one from the TEDx educational videos.
C. Watch the video, listen to the arguments.
D. Take time to reflect on the strengths (3) and weaknesses (3) of the presentation. Write them down.
E. Watch the video again.
F. Conduct a brief research to find out how the person can improve on their presentation (based on the 3 weaknesses you pointed out).

a) Identify a speech. Provide APA content for the speech: Title, Date retrieved, Speaker, and
Link.
b) Provide a summary of the following (Ensure you do not just say “Yes” or “No” rather, provide
a brief narrative/description for the responses to each question asked):
i. What is the speech about? What is the main argument of the speaker? In one paragraph (no more than 5 sentences), provide a summary of the speech.
ii. What are the speaker’s main points? Summarize this in one sentence each.
iii. How does the speaker conclude? (What does he/she say? Is it appropriate?)
iv. What visual aids does the speaker use?
v. How does the speaker use transitions (which ones and were they effective?)

c) Weaknesses. List any three weaknesses that you have noted.

d) Provide three solutions to the weaknesses listed above, and ensure you put references for the solutions.

e) Ensure you list at least four references for this assignment. Do Not use the course Handbook as a reference.
